Plant Database and Photo Gallery

For those of you who love and cherish historic gardens and appreciate them as works of art, the Cupola House Association has published a wonderful book designed just for you.

The Cupola House Master Gardeners, Frances Inglis and Mary Kay Coyle, have collaborated to create this amazing book. Each book contains an Introduction to the Cupola House Gardens and their history dating from 1758.

 

The Historic Plant Database
Lists each plant in the garden, including: Genus/Species - Common Name - Bloom Time - Garden Location - Type - 1st Planting Date (i.e. 1709 by J. Lawson) - Native Plant? - Comments

Plant Photo Gallery
Amazingly beautiful close-up photographs showing each plant in full bloom. This section is not only a joy to see, but an ideal reference for your personal planting.

An outline map showing the entire garden and location of each plant

 

Two editions of the Garden Book are available:

Book 1: This Garden Book has all the sections shown above including a Photo Gallery CD of all the plants in full bloom. $24.95

Book 2: This much larger, Limited Edition Garden Book includes carefully printed pictures of each blooming plant in the Cupola Gardens and is signed by the authors. $200.00 ($100 is tax deductible as a contribution to The Cupola House Association.)
